Reviews In Brief
It's always great to hear a favorite artist get back to what they were when they grabbed you. Sweet did that for me on "Tomorrow Forever". Back are the hooks, melody and power that was so prominent in his mid 90s hey day. Gone is some of the saccharine of his off-shoot ventures. The album deftly goes from pure riff driven power pop to straight up rockers to heartfelt ballads with just the right pacing. The best part, is these songs translate well live.
