A very late addition, and one I had to verify wasn't a knee-jerk reaction since it was the last consideration and almost too fresh in my mind. After three listens my inclination was verified. Mike Campbell's outfit released a truly honest, no frills, well written, groove heavy Americana-Rock. From the opening riffs of "Wreckless Abandon" you know you are on a right as rain road of grinding guitars that feel as natural as if you picked them ripe off a tree. It's The Heartbreakers without their too soon gone leader. In any event, as an old codger myself, I welcome the beer soaked fun that I think is missing in rock today.
