Reviews In Brief
This is the Jack White release everyone wanted. He just need Brendan Benson and the rest of the Raconteurs to realize it. With little effort a listener can identify the White or the Benson contributions. White with his patented anvil hard riffs, back beat melodies and change of time signatures and Benson's melodic introspective-ness. While possibly not the best of of the three Raconteurs releases it does still bring creative boldness which makes this a fun, interesting listen. I predict this will end up in the 'why don't I listen to this more' category.
