YKEEP is for the music aficionado who
doesn't need the "fluff" to find music, but admits they've
made mistakes. Bought a recording based on one, song trusted a
reviewer or a friend's nudge- and hated it. Well... Why keep? Swap your misjudged
purchases with others who have done the same.You get what you
want and so do they. Also, you can provide opinions on
recordings and tell members what you are looking
for. Read about the care put into YKEEP's design and what you
won't find at YKEEP.
Let's face it. We have
all bought music we were really excited about, and well.... it
was horrible. We've all outgrown music or changed styles.
We've moved on. So, what do we do with what we have?
Throw it away?
No that's sacrilege. Sell it? Maybe, but it
might not sell or we might not get what we think it's worth or
even enough to purchase something we want. Trade or swap
bucks- puleeeeese
Well why not swap it with someone
else in your predicament. It's the most economical and fair.
You get something you want and you fulfill someone else's
musical dreams. No haggling a price.

All music offered must be original
recordings.

| How Does it Work? |

First, set up an account and
enter in the items you need purged from your collection.
Then
view, search, sort and slice and dice the swap list until you
see something you like. When you find that special
something, click Offer Swap , which will let the owner you know
of your interest while providing them with a link to your swap
list. If
they see something worth
swapping for- your done
.The rest is up to the two of you
to ship your items to each other and delete the item off
your respective swap list. (<---

| Any Cost? |
|
Only to be able to
sell on Ykeep. It is a low annual membership
fee charged to your
PayPal or credit card account. The
only cost to swap is the
shipping of swap items.
We may eventually
charge.
We want only those into music or who at
least respect music to participate. We don't want con
artists, spammers or
irrelevant peddlers. Since
the responsibility is up to our members to keep their
lists current, to identify their items honestly and to ship when
they say, YKEEP feels that by having minimal costs to
utilize our site it will help eliminate such posers while helping the
site's evolution. But for now you can get a lifetime
trading membership at no
cost.
